The Queer Community @ First U (QC) is an affinity group of LGBTQ+ members and friends at the First Unitarian Congregational Society in Brooklyn.
- For its members, QC is dedicated to providing fellowship and fun, support and solidarity, an opportunity to network, and a queer space for inter-generational spiritual exploration.
- For the larger congregation, QC offers educational opportunities on issues that affect the queer community.
- And for the world at large, QC works with the congregation and other groups to fight for issues regarding justice, equality and inclusivity.
We look forward to coming together as we build strength through solidarity.
The Queer Community meets on the first Sunday of the month, in the Frances White Room, from 12:45 pm – 2:15 pm.
