The First Unitarian Congregational Society’s Men’s Group was established on November 10, 2024, with support from the Connections Committee. Newcomers are always welcome.

We meet on the second Sunday of each month from 12:45–2:15 p.m. Meetings begin with a chalice lighting and a reading of our covenant, followed by introductions and a brief check-in. We then share announcements and explore a topic chosen by the group. Before closing, we select a topic for the following month’s discussion. To foster openness and trust, we keep personal conversations confidential. Discussions often focus on living our Unitarian Universalist values, navigating personal and social challenges, responding to current events, and supporting one another and our wider community.

In addition, we gather informally on the fourth Monday of each month from 6:30–8:30 p.m. for fellowship and conversation, without a set agenda.

The Men’s Group welcomes all who identify as men or as masculine people. We strive to create a supportive, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where participants can share experiences, explore meaningful topics, and build authentic connections. We also encourage engagement with the broader life of the congregation and collaboration with other affinity groups, including women, youth, and LGBTQ+ communities.
