SUMMARY:Men's Group (Monday)
DESCRIPTION:The First Unitarian Congregational Society’s Men’s Group wa
s established on November 10\, 2024\, with support from the Connections Co
mmittee. Newcomers are always welcome.\n\nWe meet on the second Sunday of
each month from 12:45–2:15 p.m. Meetings begin with a chalice lighting a
nd a reading of our covenant\, followed by introductions and a brief check
-in. We then share announcements and explore a topic chosen by the group.
Before closing\, we select a topic for the following month’s discussion.
To foster openness and trust\, we keep personal conversations confidentia
 l. Discussions often focus on living our Unitarian Universalist values\, n
avigating personal and social challenges\, responding to current events\,
and supporting one another and our wider community.\n\nIn addition\, we ga
ther informally on the fourth Monday of each month from 6:30–8:30 p.m. f
or fellowship and conversation\, without a set agenda. \n\nThe Men’s Gr
oup welcomes all who identify as men or as masculine people. We strive to
create a supportive\, respectful\, and nonjudgmental space where participa
nts can share experiences\, explore meaningful topics\, and build authenti
c connections. We also encourage engagement with the broader life of the c
ongregation and collaboration with other affinity groups\, including women
 \, youth\, and LGBTQ+ communities.\n\nTo learn more or join us\, contact C
harles Lynch — or simply come to a meeting.
